Concert Pianist and WCHOF Music Director Brian Woods returns for a solo recital, presenting a thrilling program of Claude Debussy and Frederic Chopin. Join Brian on a vivid musical journey, from a moonlit garden to the depths of the ocean and a frigid mountainside. The program culminates in Chopin's Ballades, some of the most famous Romantic works for piano, each a tour de force of virtuosity and passion.

Celebrated for his stunning musicianship and dazzling stage presence, pianist Brian Woods has emerged as a rising star of international acclaim. Following his success in the Artist Presentation Society Auditions, Verona International Piano Competition, and The American Prize, the Saint Louis native has recently enjoyed debuts with Chamber Music Society of St. Louis, the Manassas Symphony Orchestra, the Southeast Missouri Symphony, and the Southern Illinois Symphony. Mentored by legendary Irish pianist John O'Conor, Woods looks forward to solo performances across the United States, as well as numerous artist residencies at universities throughout the Midwest.
