Join us for an evening of quintessential masterpieces, both large and small, by Arianna String Quartet. Enjoy two charming movements by Mendelssohn, Ravel's ethereal Sonatine, and the dramatic intensity of the well-loved Shostakovich Piano Quintet.

Based in St. Louis since 2000, the Arianna String Quartet celebrates over 30 years of music-making for audiences worldwide. Praised for their “tonal warmth, fastidious balance, and expressive vitality” (Chicago Tribune) and “emotional commitment and fluent virtuosity,” (Pretoria News, South Africa) the ASQ is proud to share the stage with friend and colleague, Alla Voskoboynikova. A Russian-born pianist, Alla performs extensively as a soloist and as a collaborator with members of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Union Avenue Opera Company, and the Opera Theatre of St. Louis. The ASQ and Alla Voskoboynikova serve on the music faculty at the University of Missouri - St. Louis.
