Feel the drama and passion of the violin-piano repertoire presented by the Dastoor-Woods Duo! The program includes Poulenc's harrowing World War II-era Sonata for Violin and Piano, Fritz Kreisler's virtuosic Viennese Rhapsodic Fantasietta, concluding with Brahms' intensely romantic Sonata for Piano and Violin in D Minor, Op. 108.

Formed at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Dastoor-Woods Duo made waves on the international scene, making a virtual concert debut for the EvoFest: Evolution Concert Series at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in 2021. Partnering award-winning Canadian violinist Daniel Dastoor with World Chess Hall of Fame Music Director and pianist Brian Woods, the duo continues to delight audiences with performances ranging from classic repertoire to the music of living composers.
