Enjoy a music concert from the stage and screen specially arranged for and performed by the New Chicago Wind Quintet. Featuring some of the best musicians from the Windy City, who have performed in the most prestigious concert halls on four continents, the New Chicago Wind Quintet will play famous excerpts arranged for winds by Bach, Mozart, Rossini, Puccini, Bernstein, and more.
Members of the New Chicago Wind Quintet have performed around the globe with some of the world’s most prestigious ensembles, including the Chicago Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, Florida Orchestra, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Sarasota and Des Moines Operas, Chicago Sinfonietta, and the Milwaukee and Grant Park Symphonies, and at such distinguished music festivals in the United States, Europe, and Canada. They are the official Wind Quintet in residence at the Southern Illinois Music Festival.
